Who do I contact regarding a registrar for the day?

Please contact Lewisham Registrars if you need to be legally married – this is a separate cost from the hire of AMP Studios and we would not organise on your behalf.


How do I book?

You should only book once you have a confirmation email from us that the date you want is free. Once this has been confirmed we can send you a contract to complete.



After Booking


Can I have access the night before/day after?

You will have access to the site on the day of your wedding from 11am – 1am. You will have one hour the following day to collect any items between 10am – 11am.



We are licensed to sell alcohol so you’re welcome to have a bar –  we do not charge a corkage fee (Please note – No alcohol may be self-serviced other than table wine).



Clients can organise their own caterers but we do also have a list of excellent preferred and trusted suppliers. There is space on site to park street food vans or catering trucks next to the pavilion. There is also a hidden courtyard with access to both arches where caterers can set up a gazebo with access to running water and electrics.


Do you have a kitchen for caterers?

There is space on site to park street food vans or catering trucks and an outdoor tap and an area where tables can be set-up for caterers use.


Can you provide staff to help serve food and drink?

No, your caterers will need to provide their own staff.


Sound and Lighting

Clients are advised to bring additional lighting (festoon lights are already set up). PA systems can be hired in.


What time does the music need to be switched off?

Music needs to be switched off at 12pm, the venue manager on the day will shut both shutters at 9pm. Whilst we are a party venue (AMP Studios), noise levels are restricted due to nearby residents. Our venue managers will be monitoring the sound levels on the night to ensure we don’t upset our neighbours.


Waste Disposal

We have bins for you to use but caterers must take their own food waste away with them at the end of the booking.


Is there space for loading?

Yes, any vehicles that need to load or unload can drive right on to the site (three vehicles maximum at one time), directly from the Old Kent Road. There are also loading bays directly outside the gates on the main road (restricted times/hours).


Where can guests park?

There is free parking on Wagner Street, directly behind the arches and on Ilderton Road, as well as on other residential roads in the local area. For aesthetic reasons we would not recommend your guests park directly onsite however your wedding car is very welcome to drive directly up to the arches.


How many toilets are there?

There is a toilet block with two bathrooms outside, and one fully accessible toilet within Arch 4.


Do you have cloakroom facilities?

There is a coat-rail for your use should you require.


Do you have any tables in the space?

You will have use of 110 folding wooden chairs and 17 tables (which seat 6-8 people depending on your setup). You will need to provide your own table linens. Tables measure 75 x 182 x 76cm high.


Is confetti allowed?

Yes, but it must be biodegradable flower petals.


Is there wifi?



Is there heating?

There are wall mounted heaters in each arch. You are welcome to hire-in patio heaters to go outside beneath the pavilion, as long as they are no taller than 2.6m high.


Are there Open Viewings at AMP Studios?

We no longer have Open Viewings at AMP Studios. Please book in a slot to view the space. Our office hours are from Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.



Event Bookings


What is your capacity?

300 people across both arches / maximum of 175 people per arch.

For Ticketed/Marketed events please note that you can sell a maximum of 250 tickets. This capacity must include everyone onsite (staff, suppliers, guestlist etc).


Do you provide Lighting?

For all event bookings, it is essential to hire in extra lighting. See our supplier list here.


What is your event door policy?

No re-entry.


Do you provide security?

We work with a trusted security team and cannot accept external security providers.
