Friday night at the Asylum returns with a programme inspired by ‘Dance’
Our celebration of dance will encompass classical, jazz and folk music, and will include two pieces of original choreography to the music of Scriabin and Debussy by Rambert dancer Simone Damberg Würtz and Richard Alston dancer James Muller. Music will include a complete performance of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, played by James Kreiling and Janneke Brits, Bach performerd by cellist Sophie Haynes, solo jazz sax by Michael Coates, original songs by co-founder Ned Roberts, and look out for something a little different from Yshani Perinpanayagam and Floss Roberts. This evening promises to be our most exciting and original yet, so don’t miss out, grab your tickets whilst you can!
